From Crypto to Co-Living: The Next Wave Unveils Emerging Investment Megatrends

Sat January 4, 2025 | Kuala Lumpur
Wealth Wolves Sdn. Bhd. proudly wraps up their two-day event as global investors and
curious new learners gather at the heights of KL Tower, Kuala Lumpur here, last Saturday
evening. Coinciding with National Crypto Day, the exclusive and insightful event filled Temu
Hall with attendees eager to grab the latest news on current investment landscapes,
megatrends, and the application of recent modern technology in ensuring a better financial
future.
“This is the second year we are organising this huge event, and we intend to hold it annually.
Our aim is to explore the forces that shape our financial future— that is the message we want
to convey,” said Seng Tat, the co-founder of Wealth Wolves during his opening speech.
Discussing attention grabbing topics and megatrends, the event was said to be highly
informative, especially for new learners. “There were a lot of golden nuggets being shared by
the speakers,” said David Chen, a VIP attendee of The Next Wave.
In a forum discussing the future of innovation and business opportunities, fellow panelists KN
Loh, Matthias Gelber, David Lee and Dato’ Sri Vincent Tiew, who are all at the forefront of the
industry, shared their thoughts on the upcoming market trends. The rise of technologies such
as blockchains and AI are definitely being foreseen. They added that the community will see
both the bright and the bad sides to this factor.
“After venturing into crypto, I started asking merchants whether they accept payments in
cryptocurrency. I find that in Hong Kong, cryptocurrency is becoming more acceptable
compared to other places,” said KN Loh. He is advocating the adoption of crypto payment by
merchants from all over the world, making El Savador the inspiration behind this, as it is the
only country that takes cryptocurrency as their legal tender.
The benefits of investing are also getting progressively better in Malaysia, empowering more
individuals to take off on their investment journey. Managing Director Karol Ngu advised the
audience to steer away from property markets that are overwhelmed by a greedy crowd,
where there is higher competition. Instead, invest in properties that are suitable for sub sales,
and gather less attention from fellow investors.
She expressed her wish to keep sharing interesting things that happen in the property market
with those who are keen to learn. “Just like how a pack of wolves stays together, I aim to
delve further into the future of investments with everyone. To be rich together, it is my ultimate
goal,” shared Karol on stage.

Zemmour, a 63-year-old TV pundit-turned-politician, was once tipped to come second behind Macron, back in October. But he plummeted spectacularly in the polls after suffering from a perceived lack of credibility as the Ukraine war started and former comments praising Russian President Vladimir Putin resurfaced. He scored a measly 7 percent. Despite their bitter and unrelenting fighting throughout the campaign, he swiftly endorsed Marine Le Pen.
“I have disagreements with Marine Le Pen,” Zemmour said at his concession speech Sunday, “but there is a man facing Marine Le Pen who has let in 2 million immigrants … who would therefore do worse if he were reelected — it is for this reason that I call on my voters to vote for Marine Le Pen.”
