Tan Sri Shamsul Azri, the government’s Chief Secretary, emphasized the media’s crucial role in showcasing Malaysia’s proactive leadership measures, such as the introduction of electric vehicles (EVs) as official transportation for the ASEAN conference.

During his visit to the International Media Centre and Langkawi International Convention Centre (LICC), he expressed his confidence that media outlets and journalists would skillfully capture the brilliant takeaways from the conference. LICC will also be the main venue where the ASEAN Foreign Minister Retreat will take place.
