“AI is not just a tool, it is a game changer in security operations.”

While AI offers significant advantages in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, Saifuddin also underscored the need to address new ethical and governance challenges associated with its widespread use.

AI For Security Operations

The shift in security operations world has moved more efficiently with the use of AI.

Saifuddin highlighted that AI allows security operations to be “faster and with greater precision,” ultimately contributing to a safer environment. However, we must utilize these advanced AI systems with care and responsibility.

The Ethical Challenges

Although AI is beneficial to the security operation field, it also presents ethical and governance challenges. Saifuddin Nasution Ismail pointed out that its fast use in security requires everyone to work together to ensure it is used responsibly.

“At the same time, it raises new ethical and governance challenges that we must address together.”

Malaysia In Leading AISSEE2025

Malaysia is taking the lead in guiding the integration of AI into security operations across the ASEAN region. As the host of AISSE2025, Malaysia is at the forefront of discussions about AI’s role in security and governance.

By hosting the summit and actively promoting AI-driven security systems, Malaysia is positioning itself as a key player in regional security and technological advancement.

“Malaysia is honoured to lead this charge,” Saifuddin noted proudly.

Conclusion

AI has the potential to significantly improve security, making it faster, more accurate, and more efficient. However, it also brings up important concerns, such as privacy protection, ensuring fairness, and using the technology responsibly.

These issues require careful attention and collaboration to make sure AI benefits everyone without causing harm. By addressing these challenges, we can ensure that AI contributes to a safer and more secure future for all.
