KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 – KL Wellness City (KLWC) brought festive cheer and community spirit to its “Sejahtera Raya Bersama KLWC” event at the KLWC Show Gallery in Bukit Jalil. More than just a celebration, it was a showcase of unity, giving back, and KLWC’s vision of wellness-centric living. The gathering featured vibrant cultural performances, a delicious Ramadan buffet, and the premiere of KLWC’s special Hari Raya music video.

Officiated by Tuan Haji Mohamad bin Hamim, Executive Director of Project Management at Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), the event highlighted the importance of togetherness and well-being. “KLWC’s initiative today reflects the values that make Kuala Lumpur a city built on compassion and shared prosperity,” he said.
A key highlight to the event was the premiere of KLWC’s Hari Raya music video, featuring over 25 staff members who sang, danced, and acted under the leadership of Dato’ Sri Dr. Vincent Tiew, Branding, Sales, and Marketing Director. He emphasized KLWC’s tradition of celebrating Malaysia’s diverse festive seasons with joy and togetherness.
Giving Back: Spreading Raya Joy
In the spirit of giving, KLWC has generously donated RM12,500 to five orphanages, continuing its long-standing efforts to uplift communities. The beneficiaries included:
- Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Yatim & Miskin Al-Munirah, Klang
- Pertubuhan Pendidikan Anak-Anak Yatim Selangor
- Rumah Perlindungan Nur Qaseh
- Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Jalinan Kasih Anak Yatim Miskin Selangor
- Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Kepada Pesakit HIV/AIDS Nurul Iman Malaysia

Since the previous years, KLWC has extended its charitable reach to over 28 orphanages and old folks homes, ensuring that more communities experience the warmth of festive seasons. “Sejahtera Raya Bersama KLWC is about fostering a culture of giving and togetherness,” said KLWC Managing Director, Dato’ Dr. Colin Lee.
KL Wellness City: A Vision for Healthier Future
KLWC is pioneering a new approach to urban living— one where healthcare, wellness, and community thrive together. As Southeast Asia’s first integrated wellness township, KLWC is redefining the way people experience health and quality of life.
Since launching Phase One in May 2024, the project has progressed ahead of schedule, with 50% structural completion. The KL International Hospital (KLIH) and The Nobel Healthcare Park are set to open in the second half of 2026, strengthening Kuala Lumpur’s position as a hub for medical tourism and healthcare excellence. Plans for a helipad, a wheelchair-friendly township, and a 1.33-acre Central Park further reinforce KLWC’s commitment to accessibility and sustainability.

“KL Wellness City is setting a new benchmark for urban development,” said Tuan Haji Mohamad. “With KLIH, Kuala Lumpur’s reputation as a premier medical tourism destination will only grow.”
KLWC has also achieved Green Building Index (GBI) certification for both KLIH and The Nobel Healthcare Park, solidifying its long-term commitment to sustainability. At the heart of it’s wellness vision is Central Park, a green sanctuary with jogging and cycling tracks, a pocket forest, and a rain garden designed to harmonise health and nature.
