Death doesn’t give second chances—and it’s back to prove it. Warner Bros. has unleashed the first trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines, the sixth film in the spine-chilling franchise. With it comes a sinister new twist: a generational curse that refuses to let the Lewis family escape its grip.
The next chapter in the iconic horror saga brings fresh terror, a family’s deadly legacy, and a chilling return of the log truck that scarred a generation.
A Legacy Of Death
This time, the terror is personal. College student Stefanie Lewis (Kaitlyn Santa Juana) thought her biggest worries were exams— until violent premonitions pull her back to her hometown.
There, she discovers a horrifying truth: her family is marked by death’s curse. Years ago, her grandmother cheated death, and now every generation pays the price.
As Stefanie fights to break the cycle, the trailer teases gruesome new set pieces where the rules of survival have changed. Forget dodging fate once— this time, even those who think they’re safe may still be in danger.
The film isn’t just recycling old scares. Bloodlines introduces the concept of “interrupted fatalities”, a terrifying twist where even surviving an accident might not be enough. Death, after all, hates unfinished business.
And for those still haunted by Final Destination 2’s infamous log truck scene—brace yourselves. The trailer delivers a chilling callback as timber tumbles down a highway, reminding us that some fears never fade. Whether it’s a simple drive or a seemingly harmless household object, no moment is truly safe.

Old Faces, New Nightmares
Horror legend Tony Todd returns as William Bludworth, the eerie mortician with a deep knowledge of death’s unyielding grip. His presence ties the film back to its roots, offering cryptic warnings that hint the Lewis family may not be able to outrun their fate.
Alongside Santa Juana, the cast includes Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, and Brec Bassinger. With Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky directing from a script by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, the creative team aims to both honor the franchise’s legacy and push it into darker, deadlier territory.

Final Destination: Bloodlines hits theaters globally on May 14, 2025, with its U.S. debut on May 16. Produced by franchise veterans Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor alongside Jon Watts, Dianne McGunigle, and Toby Emmerich, the film could either close the book on death’s design or open a fresh chapter of chaos.
One thing’s for sure: Death always finds a way. And this time, it’s coming for everyone.
