HERizon Legacy Unveils Bold Strategy for Women’s Empowerment and Lasting Change
Kuala Lumpur, 9 September – A new chapter in women’s empowerment began today with the official launch of HERizon Legacy, a groundbreaking movement designed to unify women’s associations and provide a complete ecosystem to support women through every stage of life.
HERizon Legacy was created to address a critical gap in the current women’s movement landscape. Despite the existence of around 250 associations in Malaysia—of which about 150 are active—most focus on specific niches such as entrepreneurship, soft skills, or motivation. None, however, offer a comprehensive ecosystem that provides sustained support across the full journey of womanhood.
“This platform was created to be this ecosystem, powered by a ‘women help women’ philosophy where every member contributes their knowledge and expertise back to the community,” said Felix Lee Eng Boon, Visionary in Chief of HERizon Legacy. “We are self-funded and self-regulated, guided by four pillars—Selfscape (self-help), Heartline (family and extended family support), Entrepreneurial (upskilling), and Amara (self-love). At the heart of HERizon is also our collaborative outlook, unifying associations to empower women collectively.”
To address this gap, the group has positioned itself as the first initiative that provides a fully supported and independent ecosystem for women. Unlike many associations that operate within specific niches, HERizon Legacy integrates the different facets of womanhood into a unified platform. Members are not only beneficiaries but also contributors, each bringing their knowledge and expertise back into the community. This “women help women” model ensures a self-sustaining, self-regulated movement built on shared responsibility and empowerment.
HERizon Legacy also introduces two innovative elements into the women’s empowerment space. The first is its ethos, “Start with a Gift, End with a Legacy,” uniting members around giving and rendering support. The second is the inclusion of Founding Gentlemen among its members, whose role is to provide balance in perspectives and relevance to the emotional and communicative challenges women often face.
For co-founder Celia Teoh, this initiative stems from both personal and entrepreneurial experience. “Herizon is more than a movement—it’s a safe, empowering space where women come together to educate, elevate, and empower one another. It’s not just an idea, it’s an ecosystem where women help women. Our vision is clear—to inspire women to rise above limitations, achieve financial independence, and lead as empowered entrepreneurs. Because when women rise, families rise, and when families rise, entire communities flourish.”
Appointed as the first Ambassador of HERizon Legacy, Carol Lee, Mrs. Universe 2013, underscored the urgency of turning vision into action. “It’s truly an honor to be appointed as the ambassador of HERizon Legacy, a movement grounded in a bold vision. And I believe this vision is not just a statement but a call to action. I stand before all of you, not just as an inspiration, but for real change, where women are not just seen but heard, respected, and celebrated.”
The launch event featured distinguished collaborators including Dato’ Lee Lin Fong of SuperMum and Ms. Rani Wemel, Co-Founder and COO of LTT Global. It culminated with the formal appointment of Carol Lee as Ambassador and HERizon Member 001, marking the symbolic start of this women-led, community-driven initiative. HERizon Legacy now invites like-minded women, associations, and partners to join in this mission of empowerment and legacy-building.
